A fabulous and highly decorative French chateau armoire painted in a soft pale grey/off white.
Exquisite detail and fine craftsmanship with carved floral rose garlands over the door and pediment.
The door retains it's original deep bevelled mirror which can be removed for transport as it is very heavy. The mirror does have some marks/scratches and foxing commensurate with age and usage.
There is a key to the armoire door but it does not operate the lock, only the concealed interior drawer locks.
There are some dings, chips, scuffs to the paintwork.
Interior has a hanging rail and 4 shelves and 2 further concealed drawers.
This is a solid piece of furniture so it is not a knock down however the top canopy, carved rose pediment and acorn finials can be removed. The side columns and mirrored door can also be removed for ease of transport.
